Whilst staying in the Var region of Provence, Guillaume and I decided to head down to Saint Tropez one evening for the sunset. Neither one of us had visited the infamous hot spot so touted by celebrities and who's who of the world, so we thought it would be fun to check it out. "We'll just go to go" is what we said, thinking it would be completely an over the top, look at me kind of place, but we were actually pleasantly surprised with the old town and its multi-billion dollar harbour. A little glamour is never a bad thing, right? Having decided to forgo dinner we opted instead to just have a leisurely evening walk in and amongst the streets, whilst capturing the sunset on the pier. A fabulous spot for shopping and people watching, Saint Tropez definitely has its charm.

Is it really the end of August already? I'm not sure about you, but this summer has flown by. Just the other day I noticed how much cooler the evenings are getting compared to a month ago. I am NOT ready for the on-set of fall! Didn't we just get summer?!? Please let me have at least four more weeks of hot and humid summer nights filled with long bike rides, visits with friends, and one too many bottles of rosé wine. Please???
